Composition A homogeneous mixture of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole and polymeric binder system at 80/20 ratio


Binder type can be customized. Except SBR/TPR, others binders, such as EPDM,NBR also can be available for.

APPLICATION:


MBT is a quasi-ultrafast, multi-functional accelerator which has longer plateau of vulcani- zing period to provide excellent physical and mechanical properties to vulcanizates.
It is used as anti scorching agent for sulfurless rubber compounds and as a vulcanization retarder for CR compounds.
Alkaline accelerators such as aldehyde-amines and guanidines and thiurams, dithiocarbamates can activate MBT.

DOSAGE:


Primary accelerator for NR and SBR: 1.0-2.0phr with 2.0-3.0phr sulfur.
For IIR: 0.5-1phr with 0.5-1.5 TMTD-80 and 1-2phr sulfur

Net weight 25kg/carton lined PE bag; Net 600 kg/pallet.
Shelf-life: 12 months in its original packaging.
Stored in a dry and cool place.
